Guess what I got for christmas!

Jack...AKA Reuben (foster with separation anxiety)...he actually responds to the sound of Jack.....so we've been running with it.

Yeah!   A new camera!!!!!  Thank you Darrell!!!!  It's an HD Cannon.  Macro of bird about 6ft away....sweet!!!
Cabin on ice.

Crazy action shot of Keegie boo.

Santa :)
Crazy Keegan......little firey one .....he's sure growing into his name :)

It also takes clear video as well.  It's not as clear once uploaded to Youtube, but it beats the heck out of my cell phone.

Video of  Jack....AKA Reuben and basic walking skills we've worked on so far...I'm hoping this will entice someone to give him a chance to show them how wonderful he is.  A true diamond in the ruff.  He wasn't responding to Reuben, but when we said Jack (jumping Jack Flash..from counter surfing...) he whips his head around at the sound of the word, so we've run with it!

CHEERS to all for a wonderfully warm Christmas holiday filled with visits from old and new friends, too much rich food and spirits and lots of hugs, laughter, long walks with the pups and afternoon snoozes!

How lovely to see your white Christmas! My brother lives in Vancouver and we'd seen all the snow in his photos. Great to see your happy dogs too!

I'm sooooo happy for you ... a new camera! You will have so much fun with it! Your photos are looking great. The video I thought turned out nicely too. In youtube you just have to watch the high quality version (click the option to the bottom right of the video "watch in high quality") and it looks as good as it probably does on your computer.

Keegen is all grown up! So cute! And Jack ... he's coming along so well with your attention to him. Beagles are capable of so much with the input they deserve from us.

Happy holiday!
Love, Jackie

P.S. Did you have to drive where you are hiking or is this literally the trail in your backyard? The beauty is astounding.

This is Nexus beach loop. It's one of our cop-out trails that we enjoy...at the end of our "down town' Squamish strip.

You'll have to visit sometime. We're really lucky to have so many trails with different views within walking and before / after doing shopping.

Most days we mix going to the grocery store with a quick 1/2 hr trail hike as it's within a minute or 5.. of the shopping.
